PADI Search & Recovery Specialist

 

This is one of the most popula PADISpecialist programs that we offer at Hamden Scuba.  People accedentally drop things from boats, off docks and even while swimming, snorkeling or even SCUBA diving. There are effective ways to search for objects underwater that increase your chances of success. There are also good ways and bad ways to being things to the surface. This course covers bothsearching effectivly and the methodologies for surfacing smal, large and even awkward items from the bottom.

 

The course is open (Junior) Advanced Open Water divers who are at least 12 years old. Open Water divers with the PADI Underwater Navigator certification are also eligible.

 

When you schedule your course you will receive your PADI Search and Recovery Crew-Pak that includes your manual and video. By studying before class, you’ll be better prepared to start practicing your search and recovery skills when you meet with your instructor.

 

For Advanced Open Water divers that have compelted the Search and Recovery Adventure dive as part of the AOW course, the program may be completed in one day.
