About Hamden Scuba
Based in Hamden Ct., Hamden Scuba is a Scuba Training and Dive Experience company offering courses from the introductory level through to the professional level and comprises of instructors, assistant instructors and an ever increasing number of Divemasters that contribute their time to the great sport of SCUBA.
Hamden Scuba is not a retail outlet - we are independent of equipment manufacturers which means that we are free to recommend the gear that is right for you, not what we have in stock, or one brand or another because we are beholding to a manufacturer. This allows Hamden Scuba to be a student first operation!
Hamden Scuba's Lead Instructor and Co-Founder is Kevin O'Sullivan. A PADI Professional for 16 years, he is a PADI Course Director and an Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer, Kevin has been diving all over the world including Europe, Caribbean, the Red Sea and the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. PADI has designated Kevin as an "Elite" instructor for the last four years - as long as the designation has been in existence. More about Kevin here.

Hamden Scuba's other co-founder is Jennifer O'Sullivan. Jen is responsible for organizing all of our Epic Travel including our Drive and Dive and Fly and Dive Adventures. She also has great input into the development of the dive schedule to ensure that we provide optimal service to all of our customers as well as all of our PADI Pros. You will find Jen most weekends at the dive site providing surface support or making arrangements for our next adventure.
