Drive & Dive Adventure: Lake George 2016

Once again we will return to Lake George NY. Join us for a couple of days of camping and diving in the wonderful Adirondack State Park in upstate NY in Lake George. Warm days and cool evenings make this the perfect time of year for camping at Hearthstone Point State Park, just a couple of miles from the village of Lake George.

This trip is designed to be relaxing and open to all levels of divers. We have unlimited shore diving at Hearthstone Point. We will offer training dives during this trip should you need to finish up a certification and the following courses are scheduled for that weekend should you wish to participate in some training at this great location.

Other activities available at this location include swimming, biking, hiking, beach activities, theme park and of course shopping at the Lake George outlets.

For those of you diving at Dutch Springs on the 4th July weekend (which is where we will be diving that weekend), we will be leaving from Dutch and driving north to hearthstone point on Monday Afternoon.

The drive is about three and a half hours traffic dependent. We will camp on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights, departing early Thursday morning.

Please ensure that you bring full dive kit with you to include air sufficient to complete the dives that you wish to participate in or make arrangements with us to bring additional tanks or gear as needed.

We will be booking camp sites for this trip so that we are collocated at the campground as in some of the better spots on June 1st. This trip is open to all, but should you wish to be part of this reservation, please let us know of your intent by that date. The campground fee is approximately $100 for the three nights per campsite including booking fees etc. If you are a NY State resident then it is slightly cheaper.
